Miss Schantelle Henry

Ms Kaya Freeman

Ms Hema De Matos

My name is Schantelle Henry and I am the mother of Romeo Amari Golding in reception Crimson Class. I am currently a year 6 teacher in a local school (Raglans School) and have had previous experience leading Science in a two-form entry primary school as well as being a STEM lead within the borough of Haringey, involved in organising inter-school STEM competition and building a STEM community.  I would love to work with a member of the team in Bush Hill Park to build a similar community within Enfield.

I would love the opportunity to bring my strengths and experiences and work with Bush Hill Park in the role of parent governor to help develop and progress in any way I can.

Kaya Freeman, aged 34 and proud mother to one smart little lady in Year 1.  I'm a freelance massage therapist and in my spare time I enjoy obstacle course racing, and creative hobbies including knitting and jewellery making.

As a parent governor I would encourage families to become more involved in the school. This ties in with my role as secretary of Friends of Bush Hill Park School (FOBHPS), the fundraising and events committee that organises the disco's, summer fayres, etc.

In Bush Hill Park, children are respected and empowered and we should be very proud of that.  I would like to see the school come together more closely as one big community - more family than establishment - where all parents and carers feel welcome and valued and become more active participants in the life of our lovely school.

(The mother of two boys one in Crimson Class and one in Buttercup Class).

I started a part-time CIPD Intermediate level 5 course in May 2018. I am very self motivated and believe in improving myself to offer a better service.

I also worked as a Deputy Manager for William Hill where I was in charge of fifteen stores, controlling and maintaining staff members working shift rosters.

I am very humble and enjoy interacting so work well in teams and also on my own. Being fluent in three languages (French, Hindi and English), also allows me to communicate effectively and having worked in numerous places and visited many countries I am culturally sensitive.
