Contract: Fixed Term until 31^st August 2027

Hours: 8.15 am – 3.45 pm 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Salary Scale: Scale 4-5 (dependent on skills and ability)

Actual Salary Range: £26,168 (Scale 4) - £30,368 (Scale 5)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, nurturing and ambitious Nursery Lead to establish and lead our growing two-year-old provision. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about giving children the very best start to their education and who wants to play a key role in developing a brand-new learning environment.

The successful candidate will lead the 2-year-old nursery class, and a big part in planning and delivering a high-quality, play-based curriculum that reflects the EYFS Framework and meets the needs of all children.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a positive and excellent Early Years practitioner with a secure knowledge of the EYFS Framework
• Have a genuine passion for working with two-year-olds and understand child development at this crucial stage
• Create an engaging, inclusive and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn
• Help shape an established provision by inspiring, motivating and leading a small team through positive relationships and clear communication
• Be committed to high expectations, promote inclusion, see the potential of our two-year-old nursery and be excited by the opportunity to build something special
• Have demonstrated that they can develop and enhance learning opportunities and experiences for children, supporting their social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development
• Be organised, creative, proactive and full of ideas, willing to roll up their sleeves, embrace new challenges and help create an exceptional first experience of school for our youngest learners
